Revealing the complex biology of ME/CFS and long COVID
Myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME, also known as ME/CFS) and long COVID are highly complex chronic conditions.
PrecisionLife has undertaken multiple landmark studies in ME and long COVID and identified the first reproducible disease mechanisms and clinically actionable patient subgroups for both conditions.
These studies include the most detailed genetic analysis of ME ever performed, identifying over 250 core genes associated with the disease, revealing clear areas of biological overlap with long COVID, and discovering multiple drug repurposing opportunities with biomarker tests to find the patients who would most likely benefit from them.
With this new understanding, we're driving better diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of these debilitating diseases.
